I just saw Rajeev Upadhyay @surrealrajeev's sweet short film #EkKadam *ing Renuka Shahane @renukash & @rajeshtailang. It's about a seemingly tiny act of rebellion, a seemingly small assertion of independence by a woman in a marriage that has robbed her of self-confidence. (Contd) 
Finding the drama in situations that most observers would consider normal, ordinary and undramatic seems to be Upadhyay's forte. I remember feeling the same way about #Ribbon starring Kalki Koechlin & Sumeet Vyas that he co-wrote with that film's director Rakhee Sandilya. (Contd)
