I’m so fucking sick of this shit, we’re now in the middle of a third wave, with a province wide shutdown, and we’re getting no help from the government despite Covid cases rising here in Ontario, and with everything from increased costs of using grocery delivery services ... 1/9

the rising cost of groceries, plus having to buy PPE, this is, well, let’s just call it what it is, the genocide and culling of disabled people by the government (both provincially and federally), especially when the only option in front of us is MAID ... 2/9

which the government has made clear by passing Bill C7, honestly how the fuck am I and others relying on social assistance expected to survive this pandemic, hell we’re not even prioritized early on the vaccine list despite many who are immunocompromised ... 3/9

Both the provincial and federal government have clearly shown a disdain for people with disabilities, and have made us feel less important and that our lives really do not matter ... 4/9

we need more abled bodied people to come together to stand up for us and voice their frustration at the government for how the disabled are being treating during the pandemic (eg. write to your MPs) ... 5/9

we need the media to reach out to us even more so that we can have our voices heard, and our stories told, more importantly we need financial help to get through this, PPE is not going to pay for itself ... 6/9

plus other increased costs we have had to endure during this pandemic, so why is it that we have been largely ignored by the government and even attacked to some degree (especially by the Ford government) ... 7/9

this needs to stop now and things need to change pronto, or more and more people with disabilities are going to continue to seek medically assisted death as a way out, or be killed by the virus, whichever comes first. 8/9
