1/ Sadly I can believe our government is pursuing a #HerdImmunityByInfection “strategy” ….but I am really struggling to accept that their senior medical & scientific advisors & those in @PHE_uk etc are condoning such a brutal & inhumane policy.

2/Assuming govt want #coronavirus to spread rapidly, despite the natural #Firebreak provided by the school holidays, they must be feeling rather satisfied that the numbers of cases are ⬆️ so rapidly.
Presumably they block out the ⬆️in hospitalisations & deaths so they can sleep?

3/ They avoid the issue of #LongCovid wherever possible so are unlikely to notice the iceberg of morbidity as it gets larger.
Even if they do, difficulties in accessing a PCR test because the symptom list is inadequate will ⬇️ the number of ppl who can prove they had #COVID.

4/ And they must be particularly irritated by @SadiqKhan & the #MetroMayors interference today in requesting that ppl travelling on public transport #WearAMask . Just think how many more ppl could have been infected on buses, trains, undergrounds & trams if they’d stayed quiet!

5/ The #PrimeMinister & his cabinet have displayed their immense callousness & scientific illiteracy for the entire world to see.
Nothing & no one appear to make them flinch or pause for thought……It’s full steam ahead with #Covid19UK - unconscionable carnage!

6/ Several friends have #COVID19, two are quite poorly, all are doubly vaccinated!
The #NorthEast is like a raging #COVID fire, we feel abandoned & desperate. Yet the MSM doggedly tows the #Tory party line, discussing holidays, nightclub opening, the #greatyorkshireshow.

7/ SCHOOLS ARE STILL OPEN for several more days just to make sure as many children, families & staff are infected!
@10DowningStreet need as many to catch it before they start moving around the country taking #coronavirus with them.

A very new take on #LevellingUp!

8/ #NHS staff are anxious, exhausted, many are at breaking point & others have #COVID or are isolating.
A #PerfectStorm is brewing yet many people are blissfully unaware. They talk of the pandemic being over, in the past tense, some have said “we’re going for #HerdImmunity now”.

9/ As @Anna_Soubry said on @BBCNewsnight, traditional #Tory MPs have been purged or muted. @BorisJohnson’s #Conservative party is a completely new party.
One that is AMORAL, RECKLESS & IRRESPONSIBLE, CORRUPT & GREEDY, IGNORANT & INCOMPETENT! Not a single shred of INTEGRITY.

10/ We find ourselves yet again, in a perilous situation that was entirely predictable, PREDICTED, & avoidable.
#BorisJohnson cares only for himself & will do nothing to protect us that would threaten his popularity w/ voters & #Tory MPs.

He removed the😷mandate to save himself!
