In #Russia, the law on “traditional values” is about to be adopted. Threats to the values "are implanted into the citizens of Russia by extremist/terrorist organizations, the US & its allies & their non-profit organizations."Arrests daily. Russia is a threat to the world. Thread.
"Values": "cult of selfishness"
...
"denial of the ideals of patriotism"
"denial of the ideals of serving the Motherland"
"denial of the ideals of procreation"
"denial of the ideals of creative labor"
"denial of Russia's positive contribution to world history and culture."
"The sources of these threats are extremist and terrorist organizations, the United States (and its allies), transnational corporations and foreign non-profit organizations."
Most independent journalistic outlets were already recognized as "terrorists" so any repost can lead to the arrest. Yesterday, the feminist poet was arrested while signing her book at a cafe in Moscow for an Instagram post consisting of a red exclamation point, a Navalny logo.
Pussy Riot's Maria Alekhina was arrested this week for a social media post that is seven years old and allegedly contains a symbol that might be taken as fascist. Anyone associated with Navalny has to flee Russia or be incarcerated.
A school teacher was fired in St. Petersburg for teaching Kharms and Vvedensky, poets killed by Stalin's purges in the 1930s, this month.
The head of Russian territory, Chechnya, announces future beheadings and the Kremlin is accepting it.
125,000 troops at the Ukrainian border and Putin is reciting necrophiliac rape ditties in front of the whole world.
If they are not stopped now, we will face the full-blown European past in its digitalized version, and soon. RT to anyone objecting to sanctions and the US, EU and NATO latest strategic move to stop #Putin.

Russia has amassed between 100-200K troops on Ukraine's borders and in Belarus, moving troops from the Far East and Siberia and made a written ultimatum to the US: NATO should not accept any former Soviet republics, including Ukraine that is currently seeking admission...
...to the alliance and must roll back its troops from the countries that have borders with Russia, such as Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.) Today, the US has delivered a written response to this draft proposal.
If you are in Europe or the US, you might have not heard that #Russian troops "intervened" in #Kazakhstan where the president gave orders to "kill without warning" today. #KazakhstanProtest#Kazachstan (wrong spelling, btw) 🧵
To sum it up, the poor revolted against the reign of Nur-Sultan Nazarbaev, the former president who stayed in power for 30 years, and his puppet, a current president. The army (more or less) sided with the people.
In response, and on the current Kazakh president's request, Putin sent "peacekeeping" paratroopers. Dozens are killed. Many political analysts are commenting on the dangerous situation. However, I have not seen anyone mention an important factor: Eurasianism.
IMPORTANT! Dr. Vasilieva, the Head of Doctors' Alliance and Navalny's personal doctor, was just arrested and dragged out of her Moscow office. In the video below you can watch a policeman putting an unidentified object into her purse during the arrest. Please share! #navalny 🧵
According to Dr. Vasilieva's lawyer, Dmitry Dzhulay, she was detained in connection with her failure to appear for a hearing for the so-called "sanitary case" despite an official report stating that she was not properly notified.
Detentions are legal in case of a no-show without a valid reason such as failure to notify. In addition, Russian law allows hearings w/o the participation of the defendant. A petition was filed but the judge refused it without any explanation. A show trial is on the way.
On Friday, August 27, 2021, a number of leading independent Russian mass media outlets published an unprecedented appeal to the Russian authorities. In this appeal, the journalists listed the recent attacks on the Russian media and journalists.
They demanded that the authorities comply with the law on mass media; abandon the practice of labeling publications and journalists "foreign agents" and "undesirable organizations"...
...and stop the detention and physical violence against journalists at the protests. Appealing to President Vladimir Putin, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, State Duma and Federation Council chairmen Vyacheslav Volodin and Valentina Matvienko
An exclusive interview w/Anastasia Vasilieva, #Navalny's personal doctor; a Russian opposition leader. She's facing a trial/prison sentence this week. The Kremlin's crackdown on the opposition has reached an unprecedented scale by August 2021. 🧵👇
Vasilieva is currently a defendant in the "Sanitary Case", along with nine other prominent opposition leaders (including Aleksey Navalny's brother Oleg Navalny and press secretary Kyra Yarmysh; two Pussy Riot members, including Maria Alekhina; opposition politician Lyubov Sobol.)
The hearing is on Aug 11, 2021. Vasilieva is facing a prison sentence for allegedly violating the restrictions of the parole-like regime. The defendants of the "Sanitary Case" are charged with violating pandemic regulations by calling people to attend a pro-Navalny demonstration.
