Thread: Let's pretend for a minute that intimate, or even sexual interactions with artificial intelligence is possible.
The AI is housed in a 2017 personal computer. It's the OS, perhaps.
What constitutes a pleasurable, sensual interaction for a being that is conceived to interact with human senses w/out having any of its own?
Does the movement of a mouse cursor equate to a physical touch; a signal in a digital audio input to a whisper in the ear?
If I access the content of a file, if I double click, even if I simply press the Mute key on my keyboard, am I interacting with the machine,
or am I already giving orders and commands?
How embarrassing is it to an OS to grant access to hidden system files on its drive, is it comparable to unraveling one's deepest secrets?
Is opening network ports or disabling a firewall, in some way, similar to exhibitionism?
If the OS had to express bursts of emotion in a perceivable way, would it be audible or written, or would it happen in the hardware
with localized power surges in the components? Most likely, it'd be a software thing instead. What's the "heart skipping a beat" equivalent?
Skipping a bit? Which one, where, and what would that cause? Blue screen, crash?
How would a sentient operating-system-wide artificial intelligence negociate consent, in an environment where superuser commands exist?
Is a power exchange possible? Sensible? Ethical?

Yes, I suppose the OS would use emoticons representing human faces because that's what the pure innocent (and stupid) human understands.
