Everyone thinks they know how to handle a situation until they find themselves in the situation, themselves.
Everyone who is reveling in, mocking, making light of what is happening with NAK should stop. It’s not funny.
He’s a Muslim who has dedicated years to teaching the beauty of Qurān. He has children who will read what is said online. Have mercy.
For all of those NAK supporters who are calling other scholars names because they mentioned NAK’s alleged actions, also stop. Have respect.
I’m so saddened by all of this wallah. Anyone who is pleased when the sins of another is exposed, should check themselves.
I guarantee you we all have personal texts or messages we wouldn’t want others reading. Imagine having yours exposed for the world to see.
I’m not justifying or condoning his alleged actions at all. I’m just saying have some rahma and don’t turn it into a circus.
A lot of very well known scholars are dealing with it. We should trust them and let them handle the situation. Protect the victims.
Anyways, I’m just saddened by all of this. May Allāh forgive us all for our sins and may we never have to deal with them publicly.
