Really hope other techies in Ghana are paying attention. Don't stay in your corner. Never stop learning, always share what you learn.
Sometimes you may feel like you aren't good enough to talk about anything. Don't deceive yourself. Everyone starts from somewhere.
And when you think no one is even paying attention, trust me, there is always someone paying attention to what you do.
I've followed @jakuuire's UX posts for about 2 years now. He did this case study on GT bank one time that was helpful to my team.
At the time we were working on a project for Barclays and a lot of what he wrote resonated perfectly with us.
He didn't stop there. He did many other UX case studies that were so refreshing to read. Very important coz UX talent in GH is so rare.
As if that wasn't enough he started @TechNovaGh to write more about GH tech. I honestly dunno how he does it. Writing is really hard.
But every single week, this guy busts his ass to produce great and useful content. I'm not surprised @theflutterwave grabbed him.
There are lots of talented people in GH. I've talked about this so many times. But we never come out. We all stay hidden in our corners.
Similarly @equartey writes a lot about product management. His medium posts were always well researched and well written.
He did a lot to bring the community in GH together while he was GM @ MINC.
These are amazing people doing amazing things and companies outside GH noticed and came for them.
Don't let anything limit you. Never stop learning. And more importantly, keep sharing what you learn. Make an impact!
I have no doubts GH tech talent will be well represented across tech companies in Africa. Let's do this! 🔥🔥🔥
