Good.
Her letter is hot buttered garbage. detroitnews.com/story/news/loc…
Simon knew. Simon knew as early as 2014, MSU knew as early as 1997. Nassar continued to work with — and abuse— girls until late 2016. detroitnews.com/story/tech/201…
He abused a 15-year-old girl a week before Michigan State finally terminated his employment.
cnn.com/2018/01/22/us/…
The entire apparatus of Michigan State’s athletic department — and the university itself — was used to bury the stories of the dozens of women who came forward to MSU officials. And that doesn’t include the hundreds who didn’t.
And that’s something to remember: when you see the names of the incredibly brave women and families who came forward, also see the uncountable others who didn’t. Because the more than 160 who spoke out? That’s most certainly not all of the people Nassar abused.
According to Darkness to Light, only about 38% of victims of childhood sexual abuse report. In this case, that means that Nassar may have molested hundreds more athletes — and hundreds more children.
(Because don’t forget, Nassar’s federal prison sentence is based on 37,000 images and videos of child pornography, a number of which he made.)
"The U.S. Attorney's Office said Nassar paid to have his work laptop wiped clean and threw away hard drives containing the pornography. Investigators were only able to obtain those hard drives... because the garbage truck happened to be running late that day…"
Also:
So in short, Simon looked away from child molestation and will receive a financial reward for doing so.

But I’m sure the new Breslin Center is lovely.
