1) In attempting to rebut the narrative that his office shat the bed, the Sherriff has proved all of our talking points.
2) Beyond the he-said she-said of how many LEO were present at the time of the attack, @jaketapper suggests besides the SRO 3 other deputies arrived within minutes and all failed to enter the building, he admits first that the SRO WAS a deputy under his office
3) And secondly, that he went AGAINST active shooter training by failing to enter the building during the shooting. STFU WITH THIS NONSENSE ABOUT RIFLES AND HE WAS SUPPOSED TO WAIT FOR BACKUP. He was supposed to go in and didn't.
4) His second point, regarding calls and visits, he doesn't refute the 23 911 calls number, and he apparently doesn't realize how much it stretches belief that NONE involved arrestable offenses given he was cuffed and placed in the back of a police car on at least one occassion.
5) And that his subsequent host family claimed to police he had threatened, brandished, and claimed to have used guns against people.
6) Furthermore, given @TheLastRefuge2's work, it would be logical to presume there were MANY incidents at school that were covered up leading to his expulsion.
7) His third point: "We do internal reviews!" Yeah. So do Internal Affairs. Wonder what they'll turn up about exactly how much you let this kid skate before he turned into a mass shooter.
8) Let's go back to his first point. A nugget of WTF in there. "Oh, well, by the time police arrived, he had left the building 4 minutes earlier." Yeah. Because your deputies DIDNT GO IN. This doesn't help your case. In fact, it damns it.
9) A shooter is at the school. Your deputy on campus is made aware. He is an individual banned from campus carrying bags. The shooting starts immediately. YOUR DEPUTY WENT AGAINST POLICY AND NEVER STOPPED THE SHOOTER.
10) 3 deputies arrived in minutes. Whether it is during or after the shooting doesn't matter. THEY DIDNT GO IN IMMEDIATELY. You don't mention it, but that ALSO VIOLATES POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
11) As a result of this avalanche of fuck ups, the shooter, who didn't even wear a mask, just walks right out of the fucking school after murdering 17 people.
12) Days later before the blood is even cleaned from the school floors you go on national television for a town hall and get a crowd of people to call @DLoesch a murderer. You know all the preceding information, and you STILL DO THIS.
13) You have no credibility left. The blame for this massacre falls squarely on your shoulders. This letter is a desperate attempt to save your job and pass the blame ANYWHERE but yourself. #ResignSheriffIsrael
