The "role" John refers to is the chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism - he took up the post in 2005. He outlines some of the things that have happened since, a dead bird through the post, an Islamist death threat etc.. 3/

Even respectable journos, with huge leftist audiences, have combed through (or ignored) a 2 hour antisemitism debate to find one innocuous thing (John's wife receiving a dead bird through the post) to twist into a "Ha! Gotcha" in order to whitewash Left/Labour antisemitism.

One thing is for sure. In the past few weeks all those people who have gone to such twisted lengths to prove that Labour doesn't have an antisemitism have succeeded only in proving to everyone outside their bubble that Labour has a very serious problem with antisemitism. /Ends.
