1. Listen, I don't think this new Rosenstein SC story is getting enough attention in our corner of twitter. If indeed RR relinquishes control of the Mueller investigation, there is a Tiger waiting in the wings. I am forever the optimist. Let me tell you a thing or two about #3.
2. Noel Francisco, a prominent Republican lawyer, has some impressive conservative credentials. He clerked for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and worked in the Justice Department during Bush 43.
3. He has testified previously on his views of a special counsel.:
“I don’t think it would be appropriate for the Department of Justice to appoint” a special counsel, he testified, explaining that “my own personal belief is that when you hand these issues off to the career.."

4. "..prosecutors in the public integrity sections in the US attorneys’ offices in the Department of Justice, those attorneys are generally better able to assess whether a case should be pursued.”
5. Vox writes : "Francisco’s approach to executive power doesn’t mean he’ll take over and fire Mueller if Rosenstein is ousted, or even rein in Mueller’s mandate — but it does hint that he might be more sympathetic to the Trump administration’s stance."
6. As an example of of that sympathy, what abut this theory =Now, I haven't heard it reported yet, But Fransico could be behind this expedited divestiture of documents to congress, such as the newly transmitted text message.
7. Of course I could always be wrong, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the decision for RR to take a "pause" to argue before the SC, was just a way of recusing him without recusing him. It allowed everyone to save face and at the same time bring control over the Mueller scam
8. So, to recap, I sure would like to see more from other Twitter pontificaters on their thoughts about the implications of the RR pause. Big deal ? Or nothing to it ?
