a camera crew entered the pen, prompting a couple folks to mask up. cops immediately shouted a warning to unmask, and they did... but officers were already jumping the barricades and rushing them. so much for a warning.
note that masking is not illegal on its own in tennessee (unlike virginia, where simply masking in the absence of any other crime is a felony), but it is prohibited in the free speech cage today.

a line of masked protesters are standing in solidarity with the individual removed earlier for masking. they’ve been standing at the fence staring down the cops for about half an hour. cops appear to be staging for a mass arrest.
a member of the clergy explains to @letsgomathias that seeing the young man brutalized by cops earlier moved her to make this statement.

i’d like to state for the record that i am wearing a bandana on my neck to keep the sun off my chest. i have not, at any point today, covered my face. we’ll see if that matters if the pigs storm the pen.
