Good education is a relative term, education is only good for a particular social context. If an education does not prepare people to be able to survive and thrive that education is bad.
We as Africans need to judge the education of our young in terms of how much doe it prepare us to get out from the yoke and domination of other races.
You can't send an African child to the same school that trains imperialists and think that they are getting a good education. The context in which they live is at odds with each other
And we see how African children who are able to assimilate into whiteness become the faces of white supremacy, they become the tools with which African subjugation is entrenched
Others learn, but their knowledge is at best of no value to their community. They will seek jobs in the white owned institutions, spend their earnings in other white owned organisations
We send our children to gain qualifications for jobs, but the jobs they pursue have nothing to do with ensuring the survival or even upward mobility of our people. This comes out of looking at the world from an individualistic perspective
The more business degrees we have had the few businesses of our own we have managed. The more we have qualified the less we have been able to build for ourselves. Dare I say the current education is of no benefit for the nation.
But let me end it here and say we need to realise that our education is not adequate for advancing our interests, so we have to prepare our children for taking over and provide skills and goals that will be a means of saving our people.
The current education often comes at a great cost to African children. Education at the price of alienation, education at the price of being cut off from your cultural roots and ones sense of people
educated to become an abstraction, "oh I am just a human being, don't see me as black" you will often hear educated folks nor longer a black or an African.
