todays weather is perfect for making ribs
prep here was: brine the ribs overnight in the fridge with dr. pepper with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder thrown in. dry off with paper towel, then apply spice rub
spice rub: onion powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, cinnamon, smoked paprika, ancho chile powder, cumin, ground black pepper
they'll be put on that broiling pan in the oven at about 275-300 degrees for 2 hours, at which point i'll put a layer of tinforil ontop of it like a tent, and then put it back in for another 2 hours
after that i'll apply a barbecue sauce - probably an apple/honey one - and broil at high for about 2, 3 minutes
i might grab some corn to serve with it, and get it nice and hot with chili butter all over it

or maybe cornbread

i need to do cooking threads more often, always enjoyed 'em and the results i got from them

due to Personal Circumstances, it's not as easy to do anymore, but
fried chicken is what i've been practicing a lot lately and i've been getting way better at it. my spice mixes are always my best part, its been getting the fry to, well, fry right that's been the problem
my best cooking is still my chili, and my chocolate coffee chili is still unbeatable
