This is an important victory in our fight to reverse the tide of the HIV-AIDS epidemic in the country. We now have a stronger and modern policy tool to appropriately respond to this problem.
This is an important victory in our fight to reverse the tide of the HIV-AIDS epidemic in the country. We now have a stronger and modern policy tool to appropriately respond to this problem.
It's a product of both love & expertise. Bill incorporated concerted response that makes use of most recent developments in prevention & treatment in medical & health science. It also gathered all stakeholders’ input, especially communities that are at forefront.
The youth will benefit greatly from the bill’s passage into law. HIV education in academic institutions & workplaces will be implemented as part of the law. Voluntary HIV testing & the delivery of non-discriminatory HIV-AIDS medical services shall be the policy of the state.
The passage of this measure expresses the Senate's support for addressing the country's HIV problem. I thank my colleagues for helping shape a future free of stigma & discrimination that hound persons living with HIV & prevent people from getting tested & accessing treatment.
Finally, we have a law that can beat this epidemic! ✊🏽
