For those wondering about the timing of Indus Valley civilization and the reasons for its decline.
(Our text books and articles and historians still attribute the arrival of "Aryans" who conquered the Harappans!)😂
Just to share what i learnt and hoping it may get u interested
The tweets will be addressing with scientific evidence
1. When did the actual IVC start (earliest date as per evidence) 2. How did it flourish 3. Why did it decline
I have added the references alongside.
If i have made any mistakes, pls correct

I have developed a new found interest in human migration with special emphasis on Indian civilization of late.
After reading and understanding many articles published in this field – I am summarising my observations

Small thread on my take on this Corona crisis and lessons for Us. Hope you find this interesting!
By now Corona virus has infected almost all countries worldwide and killed more than 3,20,000 people which is going to increase.
#Covid_19
Many countries have been in full or partial lockdown since February with a forecast of it to continue for several months. Economy has fallen everywhere, man’s spirit is battered and still we are fighting against this deadly virus.
I do not know how many r familiar with Plato’s Republic.
‘Allegory Of The Cave’ is a very famous passage from the Republic where Plato’s explains the story in the context of education.
#hinduism#cave#plato#education#awakening
The lesson from this allegory has wide spread applications & interpretations in the current day but I would like to apply it to the existential crisis of Hindus in this 21st century!
After the thread on interesting creatures and HP=Krishna, i am back with another lockdown story fr ur kids. Can we imagine a story where Harry Potter universe was influenced by Ramayana too? As i was reading i did find some authors had already worked on this –
#ramayana#hp
but i have seen from my angle. I am also adding some scientific explanations and upakathas and interesting facts for the young inquisitive minds to show how beautiful and glorious our history is.
There are many more than what i hv mentioned.
Hope u like it

Good morning..
I was talking to a friend of mine who was sharing how her 12 yr old is hooked on to Harry Potter books and will not let it go. I asked whether she has given her child Ramayana and Indian books – n she replied that ‘My kid does not find it very interesting!’
I was shocked. Why are our kids not reading our books but are fixated with Western fantasy epics. 1. All have the central ‘Good vs Evil’ theme. Hero’s journey with challenges until he defeats the evil villian. 2. All are rich in characters..
