If Americans want to cut down on gun violence they have to force #Congress to fund the #ATF!

Additional firearm legislation is not only a violation of our Constitutional Rights, it will not reduce gun violence! #2ndAmendment

#GunControl does not include violating our rights!
#Congress must work for the American people and not corporate greed and lobbyists. They must fund the #ATF and require inspections of firearms dealers annually while also allowing re-inspection when they are found in violation of US Laws.
Congress is knowingly under funding the #ATF which prevents them from enforcing current US laws. Any representative insisting on additional legislation without properly funding the ATF is attacking our Constitutional Rights & using gun violence as a means to do it.

Dear Twitterverse, welcome to another installment of #ATFriday! The last few weeks, we've talked about cladding, its failure mechanisms, and some proposed replacement cladding designs. This week, we will be digging into nuclear fuel basics. 1/16
We'll start with something really simple. What is nuclear fuel made of? Well, it turns out that the answer isn't that simple. It depends what kind of reactor you're talking about. A lot of research reactors use uranium silicide (U3Si2) as a fuel. 2/16
The commercial light-water reactor power production fleet uses pellets of uranium dioxide (UO2). UO2 is a ceramic material with a high melting temperature and great fission product retention, but it does have its downsides. So what properties are desirable in a nuclear fuel? 3/16

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Carlton and I’m a constitutional conservative. I believe what is best for me, may not be best for others. I use to be a Democrat and a #guncontrol liberal until 3 bullets woke my ass up. In other words, I was a victim of a home invasion.
After being shot, I started to research and invest into the second amendment. From there I was bitten by the #guncollecting bug. I grew my gun collection from a single maverick 88 shotgun to the 25 guns you see in this video. I did this with hard work and determination.
While researching the second amendment and #gunculture as a whole, I became an advocate for both. Becoming a advocate on behalf of #gunowners was met with a onslaught of bashing and criticism. Many of my liberal friends didn’t like my new found hobby, so they distance themselves.

The @NRA & #gun companies are not evil but they are part of the problem. And the amazing thing is: all the folks clamoring to #BoycottNRA don't even know how bad it really is!
5 things the #NRA & gun manufacturers have successfully lobbied to create...
1) Background chk system overseen by the ATF that is forbidden to digitize records & so must keep all records on paper
2) BG chk system that is enormously hobbled at ATF bec of extreme funding shortages so that it can't do its job well & so that the NRA can claim it doesn't work
3) Passage of the #Dickey Amendment that forbids gov't research from reaching conclusions that might be construed as advocating for gun control, thus allowing the #NRA to say, "No studies show..." and leaving legislators with no data to back up laws that might work
