In a broad-scope RPG like #DnD or Green Ronin's #Threefold or #Shadowrun or the #WoD you have a big world with a lot going on, specifically so that game groups can grab hooks that resonate with them and then build their own game sessions in ways that interest them.

Some indie RPGs are very narrow in scope—you're climbing a mountain to kill a witch, or writing a journal of a thousand-year-old vampire, and that's all the game does. Big world games instead say "You figure out what your group likes in this world, here are a million hooks."

Back in the '90s, when I worked at White Wolf, we were deep in setting lore. Every year, the overall plot for all of the games in the World of Darkness marched forward. Twisted conspiracies turned, influencers shifted sides, new factions emerged.

D&D and even Shadowrun did the same: There was a story, it advanced through the books, the world changed and characters grew, died, or discovered new additions to the game.

This eventually led to a phenomenon of "setting mastery": Players deeply enmeshed in the lore of a game would use their knowledge of the world to manipulate the game to their advantage. (This was a problem in large-scale organized games where players competed.)

Tout d'abord, j'aime beaucoup ambient-mixer.com pour les ambiances dans les parties de JDR. Plutôt utilisée en physique, elle est assez modulable pour correspondre à mon idée d'ambiance pour certaines scènes.

Empezamos por They-Ra, superheroine no-binarie a tiempo parcial. Aurorita Puigmartí es un claro homenaje a Adora / #SheRa, protagonista del spin-off de He-Man del mismo nombre, y concretamente al reboot de Netflix del 2018 realizado por ND Stevenson (@Gingerhazing).

Like most cyberpunk genre media, in Shadowrun, megacorporations have global reach and influence. The game books include top-ten lists of the largest, wealthiest, most influential corporations, and ideas about what they do and what kinds of cutting-edge research they sponsor.

Shadowrun lays out the corporations for you, giving them names, chairpeople, and agendas. This makes it really easy for you, as a GM, to figure out missions that involve them. It also does worldbuilding for you: These organizations exist, they have logos and goals.

Ich habe die meiste Erfahrung damit #DSA und #DnD / #dnd5e Duetgames zu leiten, aber ich habe auch schon #Duetgames in #Shadowrun und #Vampire the Masquerade gespielt und es hat super funktioniert und hat so viel Spaß gemacht!
