One of the #Wagner 'big guns' has been eliminated in #Ukraine amid reports up to 200 mercenaries may have been killed or captured in this incident

As yet unconfirmed.

Yesterday #Russia declared mobilisation finished with 300,000 poor souls forcibly called up.

But wait... a Russian 'war blogger' quoting 🇷🇺 MOD sources says the real figure of frontline fodder is 700,000
And the only reason they paused drafting is because of lack of transport!

It's been a reasonably quiet evening and night so far in #Ukraine️. However, the usual places are being pounded.

#Sumy oblast was subjected to over 40 missiles from MLRS while at the other end of the country, the #Nikopol area is being hit again.

Update on the attack on #Wagner group I reported late last night.

#Ukraine now confirms that in #Maiorsk, about 15km south of #Bakhmut, about 300 invaders who were preparing for an attack were wiped out by missile strikes.

No independent verification.

Of course they happily report that their air defences worked brilliantly & show some videos of outbound fire

Earlier in the thread I mentioned the regular attacks on #Nikopol in South #Ukraine.

Britain's Ministry of Defence remains convinced all the signs point to #Russia's withdrawal from #Kherson oblast eventually.

I've always said it won't happen yet, although I was expecting a retreat to behind the Dnipro river about now. #Ukraine news blackout there continues.

Unverified reports in #Kherson that residents are being told they face enforced evacuation.

The story written by many media is that #Ukraine's population there will be sent to #Crimea

Telegram news outlet mkbelarus reports 1,000 Russian troops are 'hidden' on 2 trains sitting in #Baranovichi station, #Belarus

These are regular passenger trains, of about 12 carriages, each with 60 seats. Soldiers are only allowed short visits to the city to buy small items

Hahaha! #Russia's installed 'governor' of #Sevastopol on #Crimea, says all livestream webcams/cctv in the city will be closed.

It comes after the Occupiers tried to pretend there was no damage during this morning's attack on the city which hosts the Russian Black Sea Fleet!

85 years ago today in #Belarus was one of the most horrific massacres in the country's history.

The "Night of the Shot Poets" saw 108 of the country's writers and scientists shot in #Minsk, one of many #USSR crimes.

There is increasing evidence that #Russia's frigate Admiral Makarov has been hit in the #Sevastopol attacks this morning.

Some Russian TG channels report the radar system of the ship is damaged and "there is also a hole in the minesweeper."

No hard proof, but a lot of circumstantial evidence that #Ukraine may have suffered quite heavy losses in #Pavlivka in #Donetsk.

#Russia's aircraft helped an offensive by the invaders from #Vuhledar. This is approximately midway between #Donetsk and #Mariupol'.

Back to #Crimea and #Russia of course denies the frigate "Makarov" has been hit.

They do say a minesweeper 'Ivan Golubets' received minor damage. "The attacked ships are involved in ensuring the security of the grain corridor for export of agricultural products from #Ukraine."

A blast hit #Zaporizhzhia a little earlier.

#Russia says they hit an aluminium plant where foreign fighters are based.

Britain was responsible for this morning's attack on #Russia's fleet in #Crimea.

That's in addition to sabotaging #NordStream pipelines, while being in southern #Ukraine.

Pork is a very popular and relatively cheap meat in almost all of #Ukraine and #Russia.

Another explosion at a gunpowder factory in #Russia

This one happened in Kotovsk, near #Tambov, around 450km (275 miles) south-east of #Moscow

The fact it happened at 6am increases the likelihood of sabotage. No one was injured, the fire was quickly extinguished

No air alarm in #Kyiv earlier this evening when a couple of loud blasts were reported north of the capital.

Residents in #Bucha and #Irpen reported hearing what sounded like explosions with some saying windows were shaken.

No further details yet.

#Russia's state propaganda channel publishes a video of trucks carrying dozens of concrete bunkers.

They are supposedly being taken to the Kinburn Spit, #Ochakiv, the tiny strip of land south-west of #Kherson.
