1. OK let's look at the Tucson Trafficking camp and the resulting actions of well meaning volunteers and the shockingly slow response of authorities to their reports. First thing to remember is "The Government Sucks At Everything".
2. It took hours for authorities to decide based on the reports who had jurisdiction. Who had available assets in the area not already working on other crimes or emergencies. Also they had to ascertain that the reports were legitimate and not some hoax or prank.
3. Remember again that "The Government Sucks At Everything". They do however mess things up and make mistakes extremely well. So while they slow bureaucratically hindered response time was infuriating, given the circumstances it's not unexpected or uncommon.
4. Now on to the Heroes and volunteers who discovered this terrible situation and their actions. A. thank you volunteers for your efforts and reporting what you found. It was awful and must have been very emotionally Heart wrenching, stressful and distasteful.
5. Given the emotional overload and justifiable outrage it's easy to see how the next phase went so bad. They began to dismantle and disrupt crucial forensic evidence, disturbing the scene and possibly damaging and corrupting evidence and the chain of evidence.
6. That is going to make the investigative phase so much more complicated now. Especially uncovering bodies and removing them from where they were found. I'm not finding fault here, I understand why they reacted the way they did.
7. I'm merely pointing out that the investigation is tougher now and removing evidence or disturbing it is illegal, which is why two of the volunteers ended up arrested. I'm guessing they will be held, questioned and released, fairly quickly.
8. In their zeal to undo the terrible wrong they discovered, they made some honest emotionally driven mistakes almost anyone would have made. But they were mistakes.
9. They got impatient and developed an adversarial attitude which made interaction and assisting the authorities when they finally arrived, difficult. I understand their anger, frustration and reactions to an extent.
10. All that said, It's a huge leap to go from a judgment of inefficient LEO response to assuming some sort of corrupt cover up or cooperation between local authorities and the camp creators. Let's wait and see what the evidence and investigation brings to light. #MAGA
I close with sincere thanks and admiration to the volunteers who found reported and held the scene, till authorities finally arrived. I'll be praying for your peace of mind and safe release, once things calm down. #MAGA #ThankYouVolunteers #MAGAVets
