True story:

When an ex police prosecutor turned P.I. turned stalker published my personal info, including contact details, photos of my house and car, details about my underage children & their physical address, & false accusations about me, NZ police refused to take it down 1/3
Even though by law they were required to do so to protect myself & certainly to protect my children they told me they would not file my complaint or take any action from it "because as long as you are an activist this will happen to you." The content remained online for years 2/3
This does not mean I'm OK with doxing people, nor does it mean I'm OK with the ICE release, nor does it mean I think the ICE release is doxing - its a very different beast. My point is simply that corporations & government agencies will seldom if ever act to protect activists 3/3
