Supreme Court rulings over the last two days underscore the fact that all three branches of the United States government are under the sway, for now, of the right - and to some degree, far right
The next two Supreme Court vacancies are likely to come from the retirement/passing of RBG and Kennedy, giving conservatives a golden opportunity to move the court even further to the right - perhaps for decades to come
1) R presidents have appointed justices who are younger - while D presidents have appointed justices who are older. Thus GOP appointees serve on the court longer
2) Avg. appointment age of Thomas/Alito/Roberts/Gorsuch: 49.2
3) Ginsburg/Breyer/Sotomayor/Kagan: 54.5
what a coincidence - Kennedy retiring
