When given a seat at the table, women are agents of change, especially when it comes to peace & security negotiations. Proud that my amendment w/@USRepKeating passed today – it will build on the Women, Peace & Security Act & help amplify women's voices in global peace building.
Specifically, it would:
1. Integrate gender perspectives into our military missions
2. Assist countries in incorporating women into their security efforts
3. Fund research on women's contributions to security efforts @DeptofDefense
