[THREAD]

The Psychological Effects of No Problem:
A common phrase that a most of us have used at some point—No Problem.

Seemingly harmless, just a courteous gesture.

No different than You’re Welcome.

Or is it?
I used to think Your Welcome was an egotistical, narcissistic response to Thank You (I mean, hey, I was a nihilistic teenager).

As a result, I stopped saying Your Welcome and hated when anyone else said it.

In place of it, I adopted No Problem.
No Problem ironically has a two issues:

• Rejects gratitude
• Downplays our worth
The meaning behind Thank you slams straight into a brick wall if it’s responded to with No Problem.

Thank You sends out gratefulness and sincere praises.

Thank You is filled with vibrant, warm energy.

Thank You is love.
No Problem doesn’t accept any of Thank You’s warmth.

No Problem is a cynical old hermit residing in a cave in the arctic.

No Problem puts a blockage on the exchange of positive energy.
When you say No Problem, you’re undermining whatever good deed you’ve done, no matter how big or small.

Responding with You’re Welcome opens up that pathway of positive energy between both parties.
Stop saying No Problem, start saying You’re Welcome.
