And while those of us too young to remember the last Great War or Korea or Vietnam might be perceived as unprepared to sacrifice for our nation, we have been prepared for this moment.
Not by schools, whose vision of history is corrupted by the political agendae of school boards,

Not by politicians, who manipulate foreign policy and launch international conflict to drive profits for their pet corporations (some more than others)...
But by those creators of our modern mythologies - artists, filmmakers, and dreamers with their own experience of struggle, who have created their visions of a better world, and the sacrifice by which it must be obtained.
It is these creators who have given us our role models for this time, flesh and blood, to emulate in defending not just the future of our nation, but of our entire world... and these role models who will guide us in our hopes, fears, and victories in the days to come.
