I am just ridiculously relaxed and contented right now.
I've been getting out SO MUCH. And my house is so clean right now. And all my little appliances are humming around me while my baby sleeps.
Y'all. I have been getting out so much I have a legit tan going. I was out EVERY DAY THIS WEEK.

I know that doesn't sound like an accomplishment to a lot of people but omg it's been a couple years since I've been able to do that.

Today is already a shit day to be a fat person on the internet (haha, so it's a day ending in y) but I want you to know that you are valid and gorgeous and your health is no one else's fucking business.

You deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
You deserve to buy clothes that aren't marked up 3x the price of straight size clothing and you deserve to be paid the same fucking money as straight size people for the same work.

You deserve love and acceptance from the people in your life.
You deserve great sex (if you want it) with partners who are enthusiastic about your body.

You are not worth less than a thin person.

You are not something to be tolerated. You are something to be celebrated bc you are the only you that exists.

Do people who think showing a fat model is promoting obesity also think that showing a disabled model is promoting disability?
And since Tess Holliday is very outspoken about working out, maybe the idea that people are worried about showing "unhealthy" people as role models is really just thinly veiled bigotry and ableism.
The argument is so flawed. Why would not being in perfect health be something we had to hide from people anyway?

Health isn't linear. People get sick. People become disabled. Some people recover and some people don't but neither is morally superior???

Right. I'm going to have a pub reckon about free-market economics. Here we go.
I have a degree in economics and philosophy. As such, I'm working in unsatisfying admin and am so weighed down by student debt my nose scrapes the floor. However, I do occasionally Have A Reckon about things.
Economics is a fun subject. It's basically peoplemaths. The same way that formal logic is thinkingmaths. It's a set of rules, assumptions and axioms that you plug things into and get results out of.

People voted for Trump because he “speaks his mind”, while either ignoring or identifying with the fact that his mind is cesspit bubbling out words as his narcissism dictates.

This is a short and interesting read by @mich261213. Used to be Russia's richest man until he got chucked him in prison for some time. It's about some people he met in his 10 years in prison. I shall post some thoughts tomorrow
1/ Khodorkovsky (Ходорковский) on the folk he met in Russian prisons, he writes about roughly twenty people.
2/ Mikhail Ходорковский survived prison by relying on the internal discipline his parents taught him. He never allowed himself to think about getting out soon, and kept himself busy by writing letters and prison stories.
