So "collecting taxes" is a RIGHT of the govt. "Paying taxes" is a DUTY of the citizen.
But "providing services" is not a DUTY of govt? "Demanding services" is not a RIGHT of citizens?
We're all being played.
Saddest thing is, so many are serfs. Happy to pay taxes, trust govt!
Our first challenge is the serfs, not govt. If we take on govt, the first to oppose us will not be the govt, but its serfs. Govt can sit back and laugh.
So these serfs first need to be de-conditioned. Need to make them realise they're being played.

HOLD GOVT ACCOUNTABLE. PLS.
I really don't care which govt it is. BJP, Cong, any other.
Don't care what level. Union Govt, state govt, municipality, panchayat.
All I ask is, please hold govt accountable. You pay taxes, make sure they don't go waste. Don't be a serf. Govt has to work for you - make it!

I was one of those naive guys who got taken in by Modi's slogans of 2013-14. Shd have known better - but fell for them hook, line & sinker.
The anti-UPA mood was SO strong at the time. UPA was being bashed day in, day out. By not just BJP, but cleverly by media & industry too.
The IAC movement played its part in undermining UPA's credibility. Minor detail: Many, like Kiran Bedi, Kher & Ramdev, aligned w/ BJP later.

Right after I post about Python being a trash fire my account gets locked. So some total fucking weakling can't handle that I say he's an insecure narcissist following a fascist and...proves I'm right by reporting me behind the scenes for what I say.
This is why I'm on a mission to deter beginners and professionals alike from being associated with Python. If you happen to disagree with them they will do everything they can to silence you and ruin your ability to work or enjoy the language.
Now, people reply with, "Yes, but you're being an asshole." Really? Did you go tell Guido that when he went out of his way to destroy Aaron Swartz's work? No? Then being an asshole should be just fine with you. Ohhhhhh I'm not in charge is the real problem.

Right. I'm ready to call it! The UK government is aiming for the #Brexit negotiations to lead to:

- A Norway deal
- A 'Norway' v '#Remain' referendum.

Why Norway?

Well, the answer to that lies on the island of #Ireland. Due to the GFA, there are not many ways of squaring the circle of having the hard border that is required by the WTO, Northern Ireland remaining in the UK and the UK being outside the customs union.
So the options faced by HMG are:

1 - call a border poll and let Northern Ireland and the Republic reunite as a single entity. While the Conservatives are nominally the Conservative & Unionist Party, there are many who would not share a tear at the loss of NI....
