Gun-hoarding "militia" (gang) that contracts themselves out as private security to far right causes. Most of the dudes playing army man at Charlottesville were 3%ers.
Also in the morass of the far right's ideological swamp, I don't think we talk enough about their radical isolationism.

All the damage Trump is doing to America with the trade war? To them it's confirmation of the "fallen state of America" that America has any co-dependancy on any other nation at all. It's just evidence of the "soft", "weak" policies of Obama.

In their game plan a very real, sensible point of progress is when ICE and DHS are sitting at the border asking people why they're *leaving* America and refusing to let people go.
Trump has already vocally expressed his desire to close the borders entirely and even the least credulous commentators still pull their punches and assume "close the borders" doesn't actually *mean* close the borders. Surely tourists and exports and... no. He wants to close them.
He's a germaphobe and a xenophobe and uses one as the roadmap for the other.
Anyway, a chunk of what's kept us from total collapse is that the half of Trump's admin that's just trying to rob the place keeps getting in the way of the half that's trying to trigger the second coming of Jesus, and vice versa.
