So.

I'm re-watching Warcraft.

And I completely forgot that Durotan gets into a fist fight with old man warlock Gul'dan and they just punch each other for five minutes.
This movie is so weird. Everyone looks like college students wearing cosplay. It makes random changes to the lore without making it any more comprehensible. The only human PoC character is a cameo of one of WoW's earliest villains.
There's eight hundred named characters and a solid half of them only get name drops in their final scene, like someone will be walking out of a room and go "thank you for your assistance, Kargath Bladefist, named character from the Burning Crusade" and never be seen again.
It's kinda funny just how blatantly the movie is as a commercial for Warlords of Draenor, focusing on most of the same characters with the same arcs, and how intensely it then reflects all the same weaknesses of that expansion.
That's all part of the problem: it's trying to re-write the story of the start of the first game to make it agree with the changes accumulated over twenty years while focusing on the characters that are important in the fifth expansion to the fourth game.
I'll say this, though: it is Beastmaster and Yor, the Hunter from the Future levels of cheese.
