5. The Mueller Team had just found out, via IG Horowitz, that Strzok-Page (at a minimum) were completely compromised. They also would have known about the FISA abuse and Christopher Steele's Russian contacts therein

6. This is 2 months after Mueller's appointment. He doesn't know who on his team might be implicated, or at least tangentially connected to people who are implicated, in the #SPYGATE scandal.

7. Under his original mandate, everything SPYGATE related would have to be investigated - thus exposing those details to compromised individuals, and also forcing Rod Rosenstein's recusal as soon as they started looking into FISA

8. So Rosenstein and Mueller narrowed the focus of the Mueller probe. The exact nature of the narrowing remains redacted to this day - and could not be revealed even during the sentencing of the FLYNN (Fisa city) sentencing hearings. Why?

9. Because Rosenstein narrowed the Mueller mandate to PROTECT the IG investigation, and his own, from becoming unraveled by the Comey Crew's entanglement with the "Russia collusion" that Mueller was tasked to investigate.

10. John W Huber was re-appointed US Attorney in August, the same month that Rosenstein's narrowing took place. By November, he was the vice chair of Sessions' direct advisory board. Happily investigating away in tandem with the IG.

11. Rod Rosenstein specifically narrowed the scope of Mueller's probe to make sure that Mueller didn't get tied up in the Comey crew's dirty work, and to ensure the integrity of both the Mueller and Huber/Horowitz investigations.

Pure genius.

12. Thanks to that move, team TRUMP maintains control of both investigations.
