GA ACTION ALERT!!-Altho' this is last minute notice--Your county Elec. Bd. is likely meeting TOMORROW (Mon.) to certify 7/24/18 results. Go to meeting to speak up in public comment session and ask them for paper ballots in November! See thread below for details. 1/
2/ County Boards of Elections have the authority to order paper ballots if they determine the touchscreen machines to be "impractical" or "impossible" to use. There are MANY reasons they are "impractical" to use in Georgia. I will post letter later today with the legal reference.
3/All meetings are public and have public comment period. You may speak to make this request. Although they will not decide immediately. Please look up your county's board of election meeting time for certification of the primary, and post below. Generally deadline is tomorrow.
4/ Cobb County is noon tomorrow. DeKalb is 4:30 tomorrow (Monday.) Please post your county's meeting time. Board of Elections--for purposes of certifying the 7/24/18 results. More to follow.
5/ Here's letter that went to Election Bd members where we had individual addresses, & all county election directors. Please forward to your county's officials with your request that they adopt paper ballots. Contact info below. URGENT! Most meet Monday. conta.cc/2LZE9pj

I'm betting that there was only one member of the SAFE Commission that asked such questions. (Lee) But because the meeting violated Sunshine Laws and let the vendors talk privately with SAFE Comm members, we don't know!!
I was surprised that no one objected to this egregious violation of GA Sunshine Laws. We could not hear the claims that vendors were making to SAFE Comm. members, or what members were saying to vendors. 😡😡⁉️⁉️@stphnfwlr @JohnnyIK @markniesse @katebrumback
You might recall that the SAFE Comm has also had secret illegal telephone meetings, violating the Sunshine Laws. Georgia is headed for the same trouble they have with the current voting system. That is what happens when officials make back room decisions.

2/ then, use a BMD style ballot card and see if they can remember everything on the ballot to "verify" that the ballot card (like below) is accurate. Can they remember what all those ballot questions are? I'd like to see them try! Yet they want a system where all voters...
3/ must verify the ballot card list of 27 contests (in this case) is accurate, while standing at machine. If all SAFE members can "verify" a 27 item list by memory, then I might reconsider my opposition to these absurd machines.
