I thought long and hard about this next claim. No other theoretical tradition that some would likely consider avant garde academic has been more grounded in, reflective of, and in service to democratic politics than has U. S. academic race theory.
From praxis to philosophy, of all the theoretical traditions, race theory probably does not need your pre-k rejoinder on how to talk nice to white people about racism.
