Do y'all know how many calls, emails, DMs, texts, referrals I get from white people wanting me to tutor them on something something racism? I have had managers at jobs use their position to try and force me to do it for them, social pressure from colleagues, etc.
I am of the same mind on this issue as I am on drug dealers. If you're good at it then you're too good to be doing it. And if you're bad at it then you're gonna get somebody killed. It's a no-win zone.
If you're wondering I am too good to be doing it.
If you're emailing me then you can't afford what I would charge for that kind of thing because I wouldn't just require money. I would need carte blanche, autonomy, authority AND hazard pay. And no one pays black women in that kind of measure. Or not my kind of black woman.
