Watching Die Hard for the first time. It is so obviously a Christmas movie I don’t understand why it’s even up for debate.
My mother in law was outraged that the police didn’t listen to McClane on the radio and also said that if this movie gets any more exciting we’ll need to break into the Christmas pudding.
Honestly the biggest victim so far is John McClane’s shirt. Why is he even wearing it still? What purpose is it serving?

Alright, I've got some thoughts on this, after a lot of contemplation and arguing. In short: the guardrails within and among conservative media and institutions are gone.
@benshapiro argued last week that cons were better at ousting bad elements (racists) than liberals. nationalreview.com/2018/08/conser…
Here are the problems with this assertion:
1.) If you have to continually purge your publications and institutions of white nationalists, that's not a sign of institutional wellbeing. "Good news: we got all of the rats out of the restaurant kitchen again!"

As Trump tries to distract from Cohen/Manafort, worth noting:
1) there have not been “farm seizures & expropriations” in SA
2) no evidence that farmers face worse crime than avg South African, “farmer white genocide” story you see online is, predictably, racist “race-war” trash
Stories online about "Akkerland Boerdery" etc are about determining the value the state will pay when expropriating piece of land. Whether you call this "expropriation" (SA), "eminent domain" (US), "compulsory purchase" (UK) this is something which happens in every country
The SA constitution (since 1996!) has required that govt must pay "just & equitable" compensation for expropriated land. Court will determine what "just & equitable" means in particular context. Market value is one factor among others. BTW SA courts are strong & independent.

2/ Tonight Cohen's attorney Lanny Davis told MSNBC that Cohen's team is not responsible for the CNN story. Since that time, CNN (and later, MSNBC) confirmed that their sources continue to maintain that Cohen is prepared to tell Mueller that Trump knew of the meeting beforehand.

How I write a comic book script:
1. Outline the whole thing.
2. Break the outline down into pages.
3. Write from the beginning, but if I get stuck, skip around and write the easier scenes first.
4. Go back and write the harder scenes, which are easier now that I've done the rest.
5. Rewrite the easier scenes now that I've written the harder scenes and know my story better.
6. Go through and edit everything multiple times.
7. Turn it in when I run out of time.
8. Enjoy that fourteen minutes of calm you get after turning in a script.
9. Work on revisions.
10. Figure out what it's REALLY all about and make the subtle dialogue tweaks that bring out that deeper theme/emotional thread.

1/ Manu (The progenitor of Humankind)
All different races of Mankind are derived from Manu and Shradha. The current Manu is Vaivasvata Manu.
2/ The word Manu literary means man but it is a title given to the progenitor of mankind. According to Hindu Puranas there are many kalpas (One day of Lord Brahma the creator) and each Kalpa has 14 manvantara and each manvatara has one manu. So basically each Kalpa has 14 Manus.
3/ The current manu of the present manvantara is Shraddhadeva or Vaivasvata Manu of this current Kalpa. He is the son of Vivasvat (Probably Surya) and is therefore also known as Manu-vaivasvata.
