Erdogan’s PR firm should review the Cuban Missile Crisis. How does this error make it through editing? 
1) The US and Turkey agreed to deploy a Jupiter missile squadron in Turkey (Cigli Air Force Base) on 16 September 1959.

Side note: To reassure the Turks, USS Sam Houston (SSBN- 609) made a visit to Izmir in February 1963. This was the first Polaris to make a port visit while on patrol. (Fun)

Ankara pays this PR firm millions of dollars a year. They cant even watch a youtube video. Its clear they got Jupiter confused with Pershing II in the 1980s. Fun note on that.
