[Thread] Jeremy Corbyn participated in laying a wreath and praying at the grave of men who were closely involved in the planning of the Munich massacre; that is when the 1972 Israeli Olympic team was tortured, some were castrated, and 12 were murdered.
Here is the evidence.

It is not ambiguous. It is not open to interpretation.

Corbyn supporters are following the Donald Trump lead and just shout "Fake News!".

And it is difficult for the casual observer to know if Corbyn (who seems like a straightforward man) is lying or if the Jews (who seem a bit shifty) and the Daily Mail ('nuff said) are lying.
So it is tempting to think: "Well, six of one, half a dozen of the other. This fight between Corbyn and the Jews is not really anything to do with us." And what follows is that those who say that antisemitism is such a big deal are really weaponizing it against the whole project.
Corbyn would be better off if he didn't lie. The truth is that he supports the Palestinians and this leads him to support their political leadership (both Fatah and Hamas) and this led him to attend some of their events, to show solidarity - in his important position as a UK MP.
And so when he was at a conference in Tunis to support the Palestinians they all trooped off to the cemetery to show their respects and, like the polite and supportive Englishman, he went on the coach too and he tagged along.
He didn't ask who the heroes who were being honoured were. He didn't really think about the antisemitic murder of Jewish athletes and the desecration of the Olympic ideal. He only thought that fundamentally he was on this side and not on the Zionist side.
He was on the side of the freedom fighters, not on the side of the Zionists who had killed them. So you can kind of understand why Corbyn ended up honouring the Jew-torturers and the Jew-murderers. It follows from his worldview.
That is also why he says Hamas and Hezbollah are dedicated to the good of the Palestinian people, and to political and social justice throughout the region. This is Corbyn. These are his core beliefs. And they are, in a way which he cannot recognise, fundamentally antisemitic.
And the antisemitism is not an eccentric add-on. It is key to who he is politically. That's why he can't deal with this issue. That's why he keeps lying. Because he cannot become not-antisemitic and still remain who he wants to be politically.
