I played the bo4 beta for a grand total of 6-8 hours.
I had fun. It is a good game. Not even close to being great. This is a going to be a long thread of my thoughts about the game. Read, enjoy, or ignore as you please.

1) there is way too much health in this game. 150 starting health is already high. Add on 50 health for armor and/or 50 health for the team ability and gunfights are a crapshoot.
2a) self healing is an ok concept, but players heal way too quickly and way too often.

2b) foregoing armor in favor of stim shot allows you to heal to full health every few seconds. This makes it nearly impossible to kill people off a head glitch if they crouch or go prone fast enough. Regen rate needs to be drastically reduced.

3) most of the guns i used were decent. Some seemed very overpowered (mx9 and vapr). Gun balance literally should not be an issue considering how many cods we have already been through. This needs to be done right the first time.

4) i think the final changes to sliding and jumping were good and balanced. Although i feel the game is clunkier than it was the first weekend, i think it is better overall after the second set of changes to sliding and jumping.

5) maps were ok. Not great, not horrible. Please keep nuketown out of this game.
6) vision pulse should not work for the whole team
7) i like having to choose between grenades and the specialist "standard issue." I like that their use is limited so theyre not spammed everywhere

8) connection and hit registration has to be fixed. Why is treyarch the only developer that has such crazy constant issues with this?
9) please remove spawn beacons.
