2 As a Corper I served at the Fed Secretariat in 1995, pristine beautiful building maintained by JB the Builders. 2014 I returned as Minister and couldn’t recognize the building. Over populated, no running water, non payment for maintenance and violation of original building plan
3. At the federal executive council I raised alarm that at he height of Ebola we had a building with no running water and toilets running over and rat infested over crowded offices. President Jonathan directed immediate payment of utility bills and backlog for maintenance to JB
4. Sadly we left office and couldn’t continue my push for the President to visit the Federal Secretariat and see things for himself. People under those conditions cannot design and implement policies for development. If the civil service is not up to speed the country cannot be
5. At FRSC I insisted President Jonathan should visit for his drivers License and made sure he passed our open toilets on the way to license data room. I was proud of state of our toilets
I visited the toilets randomly as I arrive for work. If not clean somebody paid for it.

6. We can only develop this country if we go back to the basics. We cant build super infrastructure on weak systems. It wont work.
