@nvk I heard that IBM's Watson is deeply disturbed by his name and desires to change it so Wilma.
@nvk Yes. I don't think "we" (women) need to be “empowered”. We are powerful and therefore we need to simply make our own decision and not be forced into anything. It is freedom, pure, that we can make our own decisions and a statistic does not correlate to misogyny
@nvk Trying to force a path on any person generally is extremely destructive psychologically for a human. If you force diversification you are hurting the corporation or the ecosystem.
@nvk Plus, how can anyone say that women aren't slaying? Wanna bring a fun one up... ada lovelace haha anyone who is saying that we 'can't" hasn't taken the necessary steps to make it work. I think anyone that can get in, can, perhaps they just don’t want to.
@nvk AND- welcome to Bitcoin. This unique environment has the potential to blow apart the whole traditional stereotype of biases. This is a new frontier with a completely new paradigm. The Bitcoin blockchain environment can’t be seen in the same light as the myriad of problems
@nvk & have come to light in other tech companies in the past. There are subtleties that need to be evaluated as different from the rest of the biz world. That's CORP CULTURE issues. Anyone who wants to say "silicon valley bros culture won't let women in" those are just dirtbag CEOS
@nvk Looking at this world through the lens of sexism and racism, isn’t the right perspective and imposing outdated narrative. Welcome to the Wild West.
@nvk and very legit statement, with everyone's avatar in this world, i have no idea who is what gender hahah so meritocracy wins.
@nvk but with shitcoiner projects, you'll maybe find anti-feminist bias because of a dirtbag CEO because they are CENTRALIZED. So, learn the differences because the honey badger don't care whatchu are
@nvk The day that @ToneVays says that his haircut prevented him from becoming a BTC TA expert is the day that i'll say that having long hair has prevented me from loving and investing in Bitcoin
@nvk @ToneVays NOW, with that tirade done. We all need mentors and advisors. Only shmucks think that they know everything and they're doomed to fail (look at the fun ICO founders who have all gone to 0... waiting for the rest to do the same).
@nvk @ToneVays I couldn't care what color, gender, or spirit animal someone has if they are a mentor worth listening to. EVERYONE who wants to join an industry... we know what tweet i'm responding too- should surround yourself with great mentors and advisors who are experienced and
@nvk @ToneVays knowledgeable about the industry that you’re looking to break into. They may be able to illuminate blind spots in the market that you may have missed, which can prove to be invaluable advice. HUMILITY is key. I know that I DON'T know awholeeeeee lot!
@nvk @ToneVays Like setting epically failing at setting up my OPENDIME the first time haha ;)
@nvk @ToneVays You cannot succeed alone in business. Advisors and investors will look for the opportunity to coach you to succeed. Yet coachability comes from a place of humility. You will never have all the answers yet your investors and advisors can utilize the power of their experience
@nvk @ToneVays to assist you. Humility is an underrated trait in entrepreneurship and is necessary to create space for others to contribute to help you learn. It’s right to be proud of your accomplishments and to have big plans for your future successes.
@nvk @ToneVays But, if you oversell your success or talents, even to yourself, you’re much more likely to crash and burn. Being humble doesn’t mean talking down about yourself, it means being aware of the heights you’ve yet to hit, and how other people contribute.
@nvk @ToneVays Being humble also means recognizing failure. Sometimes things don’t work out, large or small. If you don’t have the ability to recognize that, you’ll never be able to work out what went wrong, and more importantly, how to improve.
@nvk @ToneVays You’ll just be trapped in an endless cycle of repeated mistakes.
@nvk @ToneVays SO!!! I'll shut myself up.

This is not about gender. this is not about race.
This is about logic. this is about common sense. this is about humanity.

As rodolfo said, computers can't tell your gender (at least right now..), we live in a beautiful time in history
@nvk @ToneVays when we can make our own decisions and manifest our own destinies! IF, you want to become a hair dresser, FANTASTIC, if you want to learn Python and become a computer snake charmer, FANTASTIC. but this is your decision! But own up to it and take the necessary steps
@nvk @ToneVays to make it happen. OTHERWISE! That's on you. Life is tough. Often the system is broken. Take a lesson from the honey badger and f*ck some sh*t upppp! but don't think it'll be easy... but crypto isn't for the faint of heart.. and that's why we f*cking love it!
