@ATTCares No? Nothing? I figured as much. This is the level of customer service I've come to expect from @ATT.
@ATTCares @ATT Let me tell you a little story: I'm an ATT customer not because I want to be, but because my apartment complex doesn't allow any other providers other than ATT.
@ATTCares @ATT You have my business because you have a monopoly on my apt complex. If I had an alternative, I'd have canceled this order long ago. Alas, that's not an option.
@ATTCares @ATT One of your "customer support" reps in the Philippines told me a tech would arrive this morning from 9-11, said she issued a 1 month credit, then canceled my order.
@ATTCares @ATT This is *after* she lied about why they didn't show up the first time ("There was a shortage of equipment." No, there wasn't. There was an error in the order showing a self-install of U-verse-100, which *requires* a tech to be present)
@ATTCares @ATT She then tried to slough it off on "3rd party installers, not employed by ATT." They are licensed by ATT, though, and are the face of ATT in the field. For all intents and purposes, they ARE ATT.
@ATTCares @ATT I don't think she liked me calling her out on these two lies, because she then canceled my order. Yes, it *had* to be her, because she was the last person I talked to last night.
@ATTCares @ATT She said her name was Mary Chan. She even gave me a fake reference number. I was on the phone with her around 5:30 PM Central Time last night. I doubt that is her real name, but who knows...
@ATTCares @ATT After getting screwed a 2nd time this morning, I went to the ATT store on I-35 near TX-45. in Round Rock, TX. I was told the very best they could do was to reschedule for Monday at 11 am.
@ATTCares @ATT I said this was unacceptable, and I wanted someone out TODAY, and was told, basically, take it or leave it. In other words, ATT does not care about me.
@ATTCares @ATT ATT customer service is a plugged toilet over-flowing with putrid chunks of Not-Caring. I'm sure ATT cares about something, but it's definitely not their customers.
@ATTCares @ATT Here's the thing, though: our cell-phone contract is up, and my wife and I are looking to upgrade both phones and service. Guess which cell service we will not be considering?
@ATTCares @ATT You get three guesses and the first two don't count.
@ATTCares @ATT So yeah, I'm not the least bit surprised that you guys are blowing me off in the same way that every other ATT customer service employee has blown me off the past two days.
