Ignore for a second how ignorant and desperate this is and look at what Democrats are willing to do to win:

Facts? We’ll make them.
Laws? Don’t need them.
Logic? Emotions will carry the day.
Lie? Who doesn’t?
Opponents? Besmirch them. Attack at every opportunity.

Rule #1 for Democrats is to WIN at all costs and for decades this has been achievable largely by creating a meme and repeating it in unison with allies in the press until the desired result was achieved.
(3/20)
This was an almost unbeatable strategy if for no other reason than Republicans have been content in losing so long as it is by the rules.

Trump changed that. He jumped into the mud and started swinging.
(4/20)
At first, MSM and (D)s followed the GOPe lead and were dismissive because That Is Not How a Republican Acts.

Then Trump started winning.

So they began to use the tactic that has cowed Republicans like beaten dogs: name calling.
(5/20)
Homophobe, Islamaphobe, Xenophobe, Sexist and finally the atomic bomb power label of the Left: racist were tossed about in tweets, news, blogs, bumper stickers and anywhere a Leftist could point a bullhorn at people.

But Trump kept winning.

And winning.

And winning.
(6/20)
Then the unthinkable happened. The Little People, the Bible Thumpers, those that didn’t laugh at the idea of MAGA and wanted the borders minded, the laws enforced and to not to be looking over their shoulders for a bureaucrat to take away their livelihood had had enough.
(7/20)
Trump won.

It had to be a mistake. These fools were so easily pointed in the right direction before. Perhaps the Electoral College can be persuaded...No, better yet, DOWN WITH THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE!
(8/20)
The sanctity of the US electoral process would gladly be discarded if it meant the Democrats would get the win they deserved. It was owed to them. Break it. Burn it. But give it to us.
(9/20)
There was a silver lining: Finally, something so ridiculous and politically repugnant surfaced that even the GOPe couldn’t get behind it. Party lines began to reestablish.
(10/20)
The verbal attacks and hate memes by the Left intensified without effect. Of course they wouldn’t stop—the Left is a determined lot—so there had to be something else.
(11/20)
Something was needed that would either destroy the Presidency or at least tarnish it so badly that it would become impotent until the next election cycle. The Russian Collusion hoax was thrust to the fore.
(12/20)
A massive fraud that has not born even the shallowest scrutiny was given life because the Democrats desperately needed a fallback plan and the GOPe was still locked into the Lose Politely mindset.
(13/20)
A process that would’ve publicly crushed any other Republican (except probably Cruz) came up against...resistance.
(14/20)
Not the “I’m sorry, I will slink off to my estate and do penance,” Mitt Romney resistance, but the kind of resistance a school bully realizes he’s up against when that one kid’s first punch lands on his face.
(15/20)
The results have been predictable. The shrillness has increased, MSM has dropped any pretense of being objective and yes, RINOs like Flake and Corker have started packing their fanny packs to go where they are not expected to represent those that elected them.
(16/20)
And Trump persists. Not only persists, but continues to tackle issues on foreign policy, trade, taxation, environment and to actually do something for veterans beyond the annual visit to Arlington.
(17/20)
The true beauty of this is that the Democrats and the odious NeverTrumpers can’t grasp that the more lopsided the battle the more Americans pull for the underdog. The Left has mastered the techniques of victimology, but this is different.
(18/20)
The deck is stacked against Trump on every conceivable level and he continues to punch the bully in the face. The innuendos, mockery and outright lies no longer have the effect they once did.
(19/20)
They just make the stack bigger, the underdog at a greater disadvantage, the desire by Americans to see him WIN grow.
(20/20)
And THAT is why Trump’s numbers stay high. Most Americans like a winner, but it’s a fighter that they will give their allegiance to and an underdog their hearts.
