Pretty much done w/this story and will be on the road for the next few weeks. Would love to see other journos ask Salazar getting turned away at Allenby in 2014 (since Israeli borders/airports are a hot issue and the 5 yr entry ban would extend into her state senate term)
Other stuff worth asking: Clarification of her "race science" remark yesterday, additional details on her work as an organizer w/JFREJ (her most recent job before running for office, her tenants' court fight in Harlem 6 yrs ago that she's brougth up in several interviews
The state senate is a serious thing and the people who believe they should both represent us and rule over us deserve serious scrutiny. Same goes for Martin Dilan. Same goes for anyone.
(To go back a cpl tweets, is it possible Salazar would be the 1st state or federal-level elected official in America to have been banned from entering Israel? That's really interesting! Someone ask her about the experience/what voters and the public should take away from it!)

There's enough of this kinda thing on Twitter these days that it barely even feels edgy anymore. Try comparing the people you're mad at to like, the Interahamwe or the Red Hand Commando or the SSNP or something. Variety is the spice of life, folks
