New NBC millennial poll shows GOP issues persist:

•GOP doesn’t care about them? 85% Blacks, 76% Asians, 75% Latinos & 62% Whites
•Only 20% ID as GOP
•Of millennial GOPers, 58% say they’re “not very strong” GOP
•GOP fav/unfav 26/60

And the GOP thinks it isn’t a problem that the largest portion of electorate & gen in the US is rejecting them. They believe millennials will become conservative as they age. It’s lunacy. Oldest now 37, youngest 21. Vast majority have jobs, pay taxes, etc, but still not going GOP
Current GOP strategy to win millennials over? Dank memes, reinforcing belief minorities don’t matter to us & routinely insult them saying they’re lazy, entitled, spoiled, brainwashed by libs & want free stuff. We mock millennials when we should talk about issues important to them

•Peter Navarro sent Trump March 2017 memo saying enemies within WH seek to derail Trump agenda
•Trump leaked John Dowd’s resignation to NYT & Washington Post
•Jared had DACA deal with Graham & Durbin. Kelly killed it
Woodward cont’d:

•Lyndsey Graham advised national security officials to have China assassinate Kim Jong Un & replace with NK general friendly to US & China
•Mnuchin was so loathed by congressional Republicans, he was banished during tax reform to avoid him screwing up the bill

1. Liberals are fond of accusing the GOP of being all talk and no action. This was how some saw John McCain. While the late senator had hard words for the president, he nonetheless sided with him virtually every chance he had.
2. To some liberals (not all), this meant McCain and the GOP were all-in for Donald Trump. Their words were meaningless.
3. But words are rarely meaningless. They have impact. It’s just hard to comprehend what that impact will be. During the 2016 election, Republican elites were mostly though mildly critical of Trump. After the election, it seemed to many liberals that that was meaningless.

Let's look at the New Harvard/Harris Poll. First some things to note. More Dems than Repubs, more Females than Males & more Clinton voters than Trump voters, were polled. Even with all that bias, the results are interesting to say the least.

That amounts to an 8% swing toward females, a 7% swing toward the Democrats, and a 2% advantage for the Clinton voters. Then there are the states the respondents were picked from.

Respondents from Calif., New York, New Jersey, Penn., Illinois, Florida, Texas, and Ohio, made up 53% of those polled. Now I understand that these are the states with the highest populations but still people need to understand why these polls look the way they do.
