THIS IS THE GREATEST, STUPIDEST THING. If there is ANY upside to the ugliness of the wave of open white supremacy we are experiencing right now it is THE HILARIOUS COMEDY OF SHEER DUMBITUDE
Like, the dumb sound guy is now walking around with raggedy frayed socks, while wearing shorts. The socks will probably fall down for the rest of the night. One of the most irritating feelings of modern civilization!
But then dumb John Rich is BLOWN AWAY by this act sefl-vandalism by his fellow idiot and takes the picture. Then threatens mom & pop sock merchant Nike. It’s all very beautiful.
I am sorry for the typos but I am so excited to type about these goons and their goonery!

There is some shit worth acknowledging right now.

I fucked up a lot on race consciousness this year. @theladyalx came for me as a result. @nicoleclee entered my life soon after.

I chose thework. I put myself in the company of @desireeadaway and others. That led to @ncbcp_bwr.
And then I fucked up again. That led me to these really awesome conversations with @StaciJShelton and others behind the scenes that are so challenging and rich and so loving, and that have taught me to not be afraid to ask if I have fucked up, shamelessly.
And then I fucked up AGAIN. That led to me following @AngryBlackLady and @dianelyssa, who I think still mute me but educate me every day now. LOL.

I have had a year of fucking up as a white woman, in really bad ways.

It has been fucking painful, and worth every single minute.

3.) The tl;dr-- Trevor is a violent racist, he carries a concealed handgun and knife to protests, he's been arrested for pulling a gun on a protester, and he's a believer in "MGTOW," which the @SPLCenter has classed as a "hateful ideology advocating for the subjugtion of women."

And while superficially challenging a "white strategy" whose roots are in overt open white supremacy. .@DouthatNYT recycles much of the same white racist logic with his caricatures of "anti-whiteness". He might have just said "anti racism is anti white" instead.
.@DouthatNYT also falls down his own "white strategy" rabbit hole with claims that most Republicans and conservatives are not attracted to Trump's racism and white identity politics more generally. Again, empirical reality--and the data--clearly shows otherwise.

It's wild that the Parkland shooter had a swastika carved into his gun, wore a MAGA hat, and explicitly expressed his hatred for Jews and black people but all these things were excluded from the subsequent conversation.
Since the Parkland shooting, we've talked about guns, we've talked about mental health, but the shooter's outspoken white supremacist values and where they came from are seen as non factors. Why?
We all know that if the shooter expressed support for ISIS online, it wouldn't just be taken into consideration, it would be seen as the direct cause of the terrorism. And yet people insist on acting as if violence isn't white supremacy's goal too.

Why not just go speak to the Grand Jury? Clearly, it's not about avoiding spending more time talking about the investigation and your experience...
