Today marks a year since I paid nearly £200 to be told my dog was faking struggling to breathe in order to be carried. 
Well this has gone a bit mad!
Alf (the dog) is absolutely fine now and only manipulantes me by ‘running away’ (usually to the cupboard at the bottom of the stairs) if I don’t give him a hard boiled egg every morning.

I also can not cook with onions or garlic, if I do he takes himself off and refuses affection for the rest of the day. Also no excessive noise can be made in the house after 8pm or I get the stink eye and passive agressive sighing.
It’s fine *honestly*. I actually like watching the tv at volume 10 with subtitles on.
