Friends time for a bit education. Hold on to your hats because its going to be a doozy! Think back a while ago when the president hired @RudyGiuliani to work on securing our data. Do you remember patriots? Rudy was in charge of cyber security. Do you think he succeeded? #WWG1WGA

So in other words patriots, the voting has been fixed. All we have to do is get out there and vote. No cheating will be aloud. No fake votes will count. All those who vote legitimately will have their votes count. Both sides. There will be no cheating this time. #WWG1WGA #KAG

There are people on here trying to control everyone. They want to control whether you even argue with someone or not. They say you are fake MAGA if you argue with other MAGA people. Even friends argue now and then. Do they not stay friends? If people want to argue, so be it!
We are not always going to agree on everything.We are not always going to like everything. We are sometimes going to argue over things. Its not big deal. But to accuse someone of being fake MAGA because they argue with you,is immature and divisive. Its another way of controlling!
Be careful of people who try to control what you talk about on here. Notice how they try to keep you from really speaking what you believe. They threaten to bran you as fake MAGA as soon as you step out of line. True patriots are not dictators, but free speech advocates.

Okay, so. At about 2:00 PM I'm going to do a thread (continuing off this one if you want to like/bookmark/tab it) about Trump's AP interview from earlier this week.
I've made no secret of the fact that I see limited value in interviewing a reflexive liar but as long as people are doing it, I am going to wring every drop of meaning out of them that I can.
For those who haven't followed me long and don't know what I actually do here, I'm *not* a fact checker. That takes skills and resources I don't have. What I have is a very particular set of skills, skills honed over a long career of picking words apart and putting them together.

After digging a bit deeper, I have a strong suspicion about how #CambridgeAnalytica was doing their targeting.

My theory: Cambridge Analytica was matching users with political messages using the exact same technique Netflix uses to recommend you movies.
If I’m right, press coverage (and CA’s hype) has it backwards: The predictions themselves DO NOT depend on psychometrics, not really.

On the other hand, if my guess is correct, CA’s targeting was likely state of the art. I expect it worked exceedingly well.
To understand what I think is going on, think back a decade ago to the Netflix Prize. Netflix offered a million dollars to any team of researchers who could improve their algorithms for recommending movies.
