So many implications with this statement.

You ready?

Once a buyer always a buyer.

Once someone buys from you, it becomes easier for them to buy again.

Because, in their mind they identify themselves as a buyer so they want to remain consistent with that identity even if they don't realize it.

Also, this can be extremely powerful for your copy.

This is why you see many PROFITABLE FB ads call out specifically to certain audiences.

"If you own a pitbull..."
"If you are over the age of 65 and single..."
"If you're a pimp..." etc etc

This also comes around in your life.

How many people when they introduce themselves, introduce themselves by what they do?

Hi, I'm Joe and I'm a plumber.

Or Hi I'm Mary and I'm a 2nd grade school teacher.

The point is identity is a powerful and people want to remain consistent to their identities.

Same reason why we have so much die-hard political nutjobs.

They've attached their identity so strongly to what they do and believe in that any attack on that is on them.

There are countless ways to use this principal.

For good and for evil.

Now, if you're going to use it to make money, well that's where things get fun.
