THE TRUTH ABOUT BEING OF SERVICE TO THE WORLD

It is a sentiment that comes naturally to a human being, to be of service to the world

It is born of an inner desire to be Significant

This is neither good nor bad

It is neither noble nor unrespectable

If one seeks to examine the Truth about things, then he will first shed all rules, dogmas, tenets, and conventions

He will look at things plainly, without the cloud and the smoke of emotional attachments, political correctness, or psychological conditioning

If we examine the human beings who have truly helped the world

They have not necessarily been those who have given their money or their time

While such things are not necessarily a small matter, they have not been transformative

The human beings who have been transformative

Are those who have transformed Themselves.

In turning the light away from the world, and onto themselves

They illuminated a path that mankind has rare forgotten

Let us be honest, if we may

Deciding to "transform" the world is easy

Deciding to transform oneself is not

I will state without apology that deciding to help "the world" is fundamentally an escape

It is an escape from that which man fundamentally realizes he must do, but cannot quite bring himself to pursue

Which is to examine the frailties, evils, and inconsistencies within himself

In examining clearly, let us ask the question: Why is it that the world needs help to begin with?

One might correctly state that it is because the world has lost its way

But the reason that the world has lost its way

Is precisely because man has refused to transform himself

There is an old story about a man who would steal during the day, and return the stolen goods in the night

Some would call him a thief

And others, a hero.

Is it not the same with helping the world?

First man destroys the world

Then he comes to its aid

Human beings do not need a handout

They hunger to be Inspired.

The man who transforms himself

Ignites a fire in all of humanity

And somewhere amidst the distant millions

Is one whose fire burns so bright

That he becomes the beacon for all mankind

Humans have always taken the path of least resistance

And they have done so in the name of benevolence and nobility

Let a man clear himself of all ugliness, filth, hatred, greed, anger, evil, jealousy and the whole lot

This is the man who transforms the world without trying to

A human being must first do glory to his own incomparable humanity

He must become Whole, Complete, Pure, and Perfect

This is the power that will lift humanity from its depths

This is the man the world has been waiting for

Let a man become That

And humanity Will rise
