@SarahEMyhre @sciam Perhaps not outrage, but concern about individual actions. What you call corporate greed is also individual action - individual corporate managers that act based on a system that rewards profit over concern for the environment. 1/
@SarahEMyhre @sciam When individuals drive, fly, and heat large houses without concern for their global impact, they are likewise responding to a system of short term rewards. But changing that system will take a collective change of ethics - which has to take the form of a change in conduct. 2/
@SarahEMyhre @sciam Try substituting other issues for "Climate" in your sub-head - "discrimination" or "harassment" or "economic inequality," does it still work? Why is individual conduct important in these other areas, but not climate? Doesnt the aggregation of individual conduct = systemic problem
