There is a a lot of "actually" Twitter going on right now saying polygraph test are not admissible in court

This is not true as a categorical statement

Polygraphs are admissible in a 18 states and some federal courts

They are not infallible or always accurate
In those 18 states and some federal courts, judges apply the Daubert standard for the admission of expert testimony.

Under Daubert judges decide if "the testimony’s underlying reasoning or methodology is scientifically valid and properly can be applied to the facts at issue"
